Senior volunteering

To support community life and senior volunteering by exchange of group of 6 seniors for 3 weeks in different areas and involving them in volunteering activities in the town withing various fields – work with children and youth, local events for public, work with seniors, charity work etc.
The project was organized by the support of Grundtvig programme. There were 2 partners in the project – Hodina H from the Czech Republic and Point Europa from the United Kingdome.
The group of 6 senior volunteers from the United Kingdom came to the Czech Republic and were involved in many various volunteering activities through various fields and then group of 6 senior volunteers from the Czech Republic came to the United Kingdome and were involved in many various volunteering activities through various fields.
The local communitites of both organizations got a lot of help in many fields and also got a lot of new information about other cultures. The volunteers themselves learnt a lot of new things and got to know new places and new cultures.
