The program presents a unique form of a volunteer service that is already functioning for more than 90 years: it connects people coming from different backgrounds who work on micro-projects contributing to the lives of local communities all over the world. Volunteers are involved into activities of different kinds. All the activities have one thing in common – they have a publicly beneficial character. Examples: cleaning of a beach or a forest; work with children, elderly, people with disabilities; renovation of historical monuments; care for animals; organization of a festival; environmental protection; and many others.
